Do you know this thug?

So we had some fun with Coop Dawg's army pants, white undershirt, and some bling... :-)

 Don't mess with me!

6 month photo shoot

We took Cooper and Emma to Kiddie Kandids for their 6 month and one year photo shoot. It wasn't the best experience ever because of poor customer service and a sick Emma. But none the less, the pics turned out way cute! Cooper was such an angel and loved smiling and laughing for the photographer. Enjoy...

 Cutest cousins ever!

Cooper is 6 months old!!!

I can't believe Cooper is already six months old! He is a growing boy!

Here are his 6 month stats: 18lbs 9oz-75% And I swear he's gained two more pounds since his check-up. He's so heavy! 28in long-75% and 46cm head circumference-95% The nurse said he's got a big head because he's so smart. :-) But that he still looks proportionate. At his check-up he only cried for about 5 seconds after his shots. What a brave boy!

A little about Cooper at 6 months:

He sits-up all by himself for hours on end. He can hold his own bottle-when he's not a lazy eater. :-) He doesn't mind laying on his tummy anymore, but he usually only lasts about 15 minutes and he can't quite master the rolling over part yet. He'll roll onto his sides, but after that he doesn't know what to do with his bottom arm so he gets frustrated and can't roll onto his back. He does get around by wiggling and kicking. This past week when I've gone to get him out of his crib in the mornings he's been in all sorts of different positions. The first day he had somehow kicked off all his covers and turned himself 90 degrees from where I had laid him down the night before. Then the next two days he was turned completely 180 degrees-upside down from where I had laid him. How on earth he got that way-I do not know. :-)

He hates to be left alone but he can still do really well with entertaining himself with toys, house hold items, or movies. His favorite baby movie is Baby Genius' Favorite sing-a-longs. His favorite toys are his shapes blocks box, his basketball, his crinkle book, mom and dad's cell phones, and Larry the Cucumber-thanks to Sis. Lindsey. Oh, and he loves to pull on hair. :-) He's officially mastered putting his binki in by himself. It's been attached to him 24-7 since day one. So he knows to just feel for the chain to find the binki at the end of it. He likes to stand while holding on to things. He LOVES being around lots of people and going shopping-there's just so many things to look at. He likes to play peek-a-boo and grab and eat faces. :-) His eczema is still pretty bad on his face and behind his knees. So naturally he doesn't really like bath time. I think mostly because it irritates his skin and he might be a little scared of the running water. He sits in high chairs and shopping carts now and loves it. He also loves playing in his jumperoo.

He usually takes two or three 2-3 hour naps during the day and sleeps about 10 hours at night. I think the holiday's set off his sleeping schedule though because for the past few weeks he would wake up at all sorts of times during the night-sometimes every hour. So we started to just let him cry it out-sometimes an hour on end. But in the end, I think he can do a good 9-10 hour stretch then he goes back to sleep for another hour or two after his morning bottle. It's really funny that sometimes he'll eat while he's sleeping.

He loves to be a big boy and eat from a spoon. So far he's had peas, green beans, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and applesauce. I think his favorite so far is peas and his least favorite is carrots. We've decided that he has mommy's eye shape and long eyelashes but daddy's eye color, and a Scholle nose, chin, and mouth, and mommy's ears. He also has his daddy's height. :-) I even think his hair has a little wave to it.

He loves to play with his daddy and laugh, talk, gargle, and cuddle.  His mommy and daddy love him sooo much and we just love squeezing and kissing him! He's our little man!

Now that I've written a novel about Cooper, here's a plethora of pictures...

 Hmm

By the red puffy eyes, you can tell he's just been crying for his bottle. And as soon as he gets it, he's a happy camper. :-)

Enjoying his time with the Shasta bottle. He liked to shake it and watch the liquid swish around.

This is how he fell asleep while dad read him a story.

That's all for now! :-)
