Baby Deklan!

My nephew Deklan Keith Flanagan was born Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 2:52pm. He was 8 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long. Congrats Tink! He's adorable and I love him bunches!

Before starting this post, I should note that my sister moved back to Utah in May! Wahoo! She is now living only 20 min away from me instead of a whole country away. :-) It's the best! I love you sis!

Aurora at 4 months

 4 month stats: 
12lbs 11oz  (40th%tile)  24.25inches  (60th%tile) 

About her: She's smiling, cooing, wiggling, grabbing toys, trying to put things in her mouth, still wearing some 0-3's and her 3-6's are baggy, still in size 1 diapers, started to drink formula, still nurses pretty well,  loves to sleep, starting to take somewhat consistent and longer naps, very observant, loves to watch her brother, and trying to rollover!

Her 4 month vaccines gave her a low grade fever for 4 days. Not fun!

Depressing...

My work laptop crashed last fall causing me to loose all the documents I had created the beginning of that school year. After that I decided to just save everything to my flash drive. So I did. Now my flash drive won't work. All of my documents from the past year are lost. I didn't save hard copies either. I have to start from scratch. Again. SAFASLDFJAKOGADSFHVJADKSNOAWHFJ!!!!!!! That's how frustrated I feel.

I got stung by a bee!

We had a family gathering at a park last Friday evening and minutes after my aunt Lisa got stung on her tongue while she was taking a bite of her sandwich, I got stung on the back of my neck after trying to flick the bee away. Crazy huh? I haven't been stung since I was a kid. I forgot how much it hurt and how uncomfortable it was. Luckily my aunt Lara has some aspirin that we crunched up, mixed with water, and put on the sting. It helped! And much kudos to my student who got stung during recess a few years ago and he didn't even cry!

Rex Reunion at Randolph/Bear Lake

We spent the last weekend of July camping at our Rex family property in Randolph. Cooper thoroughly enjoyed eating and playing in the tent, rocks, sticks, dirt, mud, sand, and water. Aurora was a great camper and got spoiled being held the whole time. :-) The food was delicious-especially my cousin Jimmy's luau Saturday night.  Here are pictures to enjoy...
