He's Taking Steps!

Cooper just took at least 3 steps all by himself! I almost didn't believe it! I was ecstatic. I'll keep you posted on when he officially starts walking. It'll be soon...

Sorrow

Well, I was right. Our Fishy died after having him for only two weeks. :-( It was the saddest thing ever to watch him suffer. It was a slow and miserable death and he will be missed. It made me think about how Heavenly Father must have felt when he watched Jesus suffer for us. It's amazing the miracle of the atonement. I am so grateful for it.

Cooper at 10 Months Old

Cooper is 10 months old! I can't believe in 2 months he'll be 1! Ah! Where did the time go? And what happened to the idea of me getting back into my pre-pregnancy shape? :-)

Cooper's Stats:    21 lbs 6 oz    31 1/2 inches

About Cooper: Cooper is fearless! He'll crawl all over the house at full speed, he'll climb over anything that's in his way, he'll dive off the couch and our bed, he'll bounce around, and if he doesn't want to stand anymore he'll just fall down and cause himself to get bruises all over his legs and bum. One time he did a front flip off of our bed and landed pretty hard but he just got right back up and started crawling to his destination. What a silly boy! And a tough boy! He hardly ever cries when he bonks his head or what not.

He's also a little stinker. He knows he's not supposed to go into our front room or play with the plant but he still does. And while he's on his way to do it, he'll stop and look at me to see if I'm looking. So we've tried putting our kitchen chairs in the way to bloke him out but he figured out how to crawl through them. He's also figured out how to dive over our banana chairs. I think we might be in for a treat with this little boy of ours. :-)

He loves people! He's not afraid to go to anyone which is nice when it comes to leaving him with a babysitter. He loves driving the truck with daddy. He loves bath time and swimming. He loves to throw things and chase after them. He has his two little bottom front teeth. And he's more interested in mom and dad's food then his baby food. Whenever we're eating something he knows it and he'll crawl right over to us, pull himself up to a standing position, and beg at our knee with his mouth wide open. And boy, he gets mad when we don't give it to him.

He still sleeps about 10-12 hours at night and he loves to snack on yogurt bites. We also got him addicted to cake and ice cream. :-) But don't worry, he still eats his fruits and veggies. The other day he had the time of his life sucking on a head of broccoli.

We love you little Cooper!
