Our 3rd Home

Here's some pictures of our apartment in Minneapolis. It's a spacious 2 level, 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath apartment with a washer & dryer, kitchen, living room, & underground parking.

We live off of Yankee Doodle Rd. Isn't that the coolest?

Well, I hope you enjoyed the little tour of our home. :-)

Where's all the frogs & firefly's?

Steve came home the other night and told me in Memphis when he was out knocking doors at night he could see tons of firefly's. Now, he sees wild rabbits! :-) I then told him I noticed that I can hear crickets at night again. When we lived in Memphis, instead of hearing crickets-you could here frogs. Oddly, we miss the sound of frogs. LOL! It's funny how things change from state to state. It reminds me of what Uncle David once told me-"You know you live somewhere else when the road kill is different." Yes, the road kill in Memphis was armadillos instead of deer or cats....

Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

The whole Pinnacle gang went to the Twins vs Diamondbacks baseball game on Saturday. It was so much fun to just be downtown and experience the atmosphere of the game.

In front of the Twins' Metrodome with our best friend Brigham. :-)

We are in Twins Territory!

Don't bother us-we're watching the game! :-)

I LOVE JOEY!!! & Joey loves des-di-ta

The boys! (Steve, Sam, Porter, Jeff, Todd & Brandon) I think Steve & Sam are trying to steal Jeff's ice cream cone. What do you think? :-)

The whole gang! (well, most of them at least)

Downtown Minneapolis after the winning game.

This was randomly along one of the streets in Minneapolis so Steve decided he wanted to be Lucy for a day. He's such a goof! :-)

Downtown St Paul & Minneapolis-The Twin Cities

Liz & I went to a temp agency the other day & it happened to be in downtown St. Paul. I managed to get a few pictures from the car. Enjoy...

View of St. Paul through the back window of Liz's car

This is the funnest looking house I have ever seen. :-)

Jenna's Wedding-June 13, 2008

Here's some pics from Steve's friend Jenna's wedding at the Newport Beach Temple. It was a beautiful day and a very touching ceremony. We loved being there.

Steve with his high school seminary teacher-Peter Nash.

Stevie & Nena

"Are they coming out yet?"

It's Sis. Lindsey!-our favoritest person to visit in Fresno

It's the happy couple!

Anniversary in Disneyland-The Place Where Dreams Come True

We went to Disneyland last week for our one year anniversary.
It was a blast! We loved being there and we didn't want to leave.

Our anniversary actually isn't until the 29th. But one of Steve's friends got married in the Newport Beach Temple on the 13th so we planned our trip so we could go to the wedding.

Here's us leaving our hotel for our first day at the park

Here's a funny face of Steve's in front of the famous Mickey.
If you look closely, you can see Tinkerbell & the lights (fairy dust) on Mickey.

The famous Disney Main Street & Castle

Steve & the wild animals on the jungle cruise :-)

Just us having the time of our life!

Look at me-I'm a monkey in Tarzan's Treehouse

Day 2-Steve is standing outside our hotel room & pointing to the Disneyland entrance.
We loved being so close! It's seriously a 30 second walk.

BaaLuuu-The simple bearnecessities of life

Princess Jasmin

Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
While Steve was taking the picture she asked me if he was my prince charming.
I smiled & proudly said he is.

It's Mickey!!! (& our matching Memphis shirts-ah!)

We saw Mickey AGAIN in his house in Toontown

Funny story behind this one-We went to Tom Sawyer's Island (now called Pirate's Liar) knowing that Captain Jack Sparrow would be there somewhere. Well, every time we saw him he just kept running away to wonder the island. (totally something Jack would do) So we couldn't ever get a good picture with him. But he ended up leaving the island on the same raft as us. So Steve managed to capture this picture of me with him in the background. The best part is that after Steve took the picture-I turned around and Jack was right behind me-I literally screamed because it startled me. Then he looks at my hair and says... "Seeing as you have two of them, might I have one?" Then he walked away. He sounded and acted just like him. It was awesome!

It's Mary Poppins!

Steve loves his California :-)

It's Tink & Peter (in the train) at the start of Disney's Parade of Dreams

Beauty & the Beast

Snow White, Cinderella, & Aurora
(I would LOVE to be a performing character at Disneyland)

GOOFY! GOOFY! GOOFY! (& Pluto in the background)

Mickey & Minnie-the king & queen of Disneyland!
(Minnie-I know you love Mickey and all but you weren't
supposed to look at him while I was taking the picture)

It's Indiana Jones himself! (but a lot younger looking :-) )
Jones has his own show now. It's were Aladdin used to have his.
At various times throughout the day you'll see him chasing some "bad guy" through the crowds of all the people in Adventure Land & the massive 75 min wait to go on his ride. During one of those times, he almost ran into me and said, "Excuse me Doll." It was cute! :-)
Steve & I never waited the full time for his ride. We just got fast passes. 75 min is just way too long for me when I could be enjoying the rest of Disney. :-)

Stevie on the train that goes through Storybook Land
(He's also wondering why I'm even taking this picture)

Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!!!
Words of Joey-"To infiny an beyon an in da sty" (Buzz is Joey's favorite)
Buzz was outside of his ride taking pictures with peeps but the line was too long so I snuck this picture from the side. Pretty good huh? Steve says it could be a post card.
This was Steve's first time ever going on the Buzz Lightyear ride and he loved it!

Day 3-Our last day :-( And we ate at the Blue Bayou!!! (for those who don't know-this is the restaurant that's inside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride) We had to make reservations two days in advance. It was a really cool atmosphere. The food wasn't the best (Ruth's Chris is better :-) ) But it was still delicious and worth doing once.

Do I need to explain? :-) I LOVE STEVE!!!!

California Screamin' Baby! (the ride we met on 5 years ago)

I LOVE DISNEYLAND!!!

This is our hotel sign & Steve fell in love with the fact that there was a Cold Stone in our hotel.

Steve enjoying his last daily Cold Stone treat! :-)
Yes, he had one everyday we were there. His best creation he discovered is cream cheese ice cream with brownies, Reese's, cookie dough, caramel, and chocolate fudge. Yumm!
