Now that Cooper is 5 months old I've decided that it's really time to try to get all my pregnancy weight off! It's really frustrating that I still have to wear my maternity clothes since I don't fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes and I don't have the money to buy new ones. During the pregnancy I gained around 60 lbs and within the week of him being born I lost 30 of it and haven't been able to loose any more. It's making me frustrated. So... I'm going on a no sweets diet! I know, you're probably thinking "During the holiday's? Ya right!" But, yes! What better time to do it then during the holidays? I've already gone a week with no sweets and I've lost 2 lbs. Yeah! Let's just hope it keeps working. Within the week I've turned down two of my student's birthday treats, BJ's goodbye party dessert, my classroom treats, desserts at our ward Christmas party, my favorite mints at Applebee's, and Steve's random donuts and shake cravings. :-) Amazing huh! I've found that the more times I turn down a sweet, the easier it is to do it the next time. (I am allowing hot chocolate though-I just can't go through the winter with out it!) :-) Wish me luck!

Good Luck! You may have just inspired me to do the same. Although, you are much farther ahead than I am, I have baby fat from seven babies over 11 years piles on. Oh my, I just depressed myself. I think I need chocolate!
No really, I admire you for resisting treats during the most tempting time of the year. If you can do it now, then you've got it made.
BTW-Thanks for being such an incredible teacher. I really do appreciate you.
