We have a pet! Can you believe it? Steve and I both hate the idea of having a dog, cat, bird, etc. They're just way too noisy, hairy, messy, needy, expensive, and destructive. So we've vowed to never have any pets. But when I was cleaning out my kitchen cupboards I found a big vase and some pretty rocks and we decided it'd look great on our kitchen table with a pretty fish in it. So, we bought a Betta...
His name is Fishy :-)

The blue vases were a wedding gift, the flowers were given away at work, (as a teacher, you get all sorts of free stuff :-) ), Fishy's vase and rocks were the vase and rocks that Cooper's arrival flowers from Grandpa Tim came in. So all we had to pay for was fishy! Pretty sweet huh?

Hopefully we'll be able to keep Fishy for a while. But I'm not too sure because he's already looking a little down and we've only had him for a few weeks. We'll see what happens...
