Our 3rd Anniversary

I can't belive it's already been 3 years since we were married on June 29, 2007. But at the same time, it also feels a lot longer because so much has happened during our life together. It's been a very memorable and worth while 3 years. I'm so glad I have Steve in my life and I look forward to spending forever with him.

Our Wedding Day

At Disneyland for our 1st Anniversary

9 months pregnant and boating at Pineview Resevoir for our 2nd Anniversary

Sadly, I didn't get any pictures from our 3rd Anniversary. And here's possibly why...

This anniversary was an eventful and very unpredictable day. We didn't make our final plans until the morning of. Here's what our plans were: watch our wedding video, drop Cooper off at the Scholle's for the night, drive to the Salt Lake Temple and do sealings, see the Joseph Smith movie, eat out for lunch, come back home and pack for a one night camping trip, then drive near Strawberry to camp for the night. Here's what really happened: watched our wedding video, dropped Cooper off at the Scholle's, drove to the Salt Lake Temple to do sealings, Steve passed out during sealings while kneeling at the alter, I drove us home immediatly after he regained himself, we stopped at Carl's Jr on the way home, Steve took a 4 hour nap while I did misc. things around the house, we went grocery shopping, stopped by the Scholle's to say goodnight to Cooper, went to Chilli's for an appetizer and dessert, then Steve stayed home to watch a $5 movie he bought at Wal-Mart while I went to see a midnight showing of Eclipse with my mom and sis. Pretty crazy huh? Our day totally didn't go as planned but it was still a memorable one full of love!

I must add that Steve finally has a wedding ring on his hand after a year of looking for the lost one! Now he won't have anymore classmates asking if he has a girlfriend. :-)

Let me tell you a little more about Steve's passing out... It was scary! I wasn't at all scared at first, it actually all happened in slow motion and I didn't really know what to think of the situation. I was surprised at how calm I was through the whole thing. But the more I think about it, the more I realize I was scared. Here's what happened... We were in the middle of sealing a daughter to her parents and right as the sealer said "amen" and I let go of Steve's hand,  I saw Steve move out of the corner of my eye. I thought he was just readjusting to get more comfortable but then I looked at his face and he was completely blank. His body became limp and he fell backwards, hitting the back of his neck on the chair behind him. What really only took a few seconds seemed liked a minute to me. At that point I didn't know what happened, what was going on, or what to do. I walked over to the other side of the alter and helped another man in the room pull Steve off of the chair and into a laying position then I just sat beside him and held his hand. The sealer ran and told the sealing cordinator and they called the first aid men on duty. Mean while, me and the 6 other strangers in the room (one younger couple, a single guy, an old couple, and an old lady) hovered over Steve in silence. A few questions and suggestion were uddered, but I think we were mostly all in shock. Steve ended up coming out of it about 30-45 seconds after and was begging for water. His hands were tingly and he ended up laying on his back for about 10 minutes before he moved to a sitting then standing position. We decided that he just got overheated (the room was way hot!) and the circulation cut off from kneeling just made him pass out.  After being embarrased, eating, and napping, he was back to himself. But I was worried for the next couple days that he would randomly pass out again so I made him promise that he'd tell me if he felt any signs coming on. Steve says he knew he was getting too hot and was going to ask for some water after the sealer was done with that name. But his body obviously couldn't wait that long! He remembers seeing the old lady sitting behind me then everything went black. The next thing he knew, everyone was hovered over him and he was laying on the floor really thirsty. Oh, what a story!
