Cooper was blessed on Sunday, August 9 in the Lakeridge 5th Ward. It was a beautiful day full of sunshine, blessings, love, family, friends, the spirit, smiles, laughter, pictures, and yummy food! :-)
Steve gave a wonderful blessing. Some of the main things he blessed Cooper with is to be in-tune with the spirit, serve a full time mission, find a future bride to marry in the temple, be an example to his younger siblings, and to be a help mate and friend to his mother. I was deeply touched by the last blessing and I look forward to having Cooper by my side as my helper and friend over the years.
Those who stood in the circle were: Stephen Scholle (dad), Wayne Scholle (grandpa), Tim Hessing (grandpa), Danny Scholle (uncle), Benjamin Scholle (uncle), Justin Flanagan (uncle), Helaman Orellana (friend), John Merrill (great grandpa), Brian Scholle (great uncle), Wesley Scholle (cousin), and Curtis Welch (friend).
After the blessing we had a luncheon at our house where we served desserts, fruits, veggies, chips, drinks, meat and cheese sandwiches, and Steve's favorite-crock pot meatball sandwiches. Our guests enjoyed playing ping pong in the garage, pool in the basement, launching apples (and whatever else they could find) at the shed in our backyard field, and playing Risk 2210. There must have been about 100 people in and out of our home that day. Cooper is blessed to be so loved. Thank you for all your support.
