Talk #3

On August 30, Steve and I spoke in sacrament meeting for the third time since we've been married. The first time was after 6 months of being in our previous ward. We spoke with the youth on their new theme for the year. Then we spoke a second time in that ward a year and a half later on Easter Sunday. Which happened to be a month before we moved out of that ward so it worked out nice.

Our talks this time were on the scriptures. But the thing that amazes me the most, is that we successfully planned them the morning of. I know that's not something we should be bragging about. We had a about a weeks notice but that week happened to be the week that Steve started school and he had to work over time because one of his co-workers had just quit and they were understaffed. Then I was still getting used to the whole caring for a baby and trying to find time for yourself thing so planning our talks got put off until the last minute. And all went well.

It's crazy what life throws at you sometimes.
